About Bula Natural Living

Bula Natural Living is a Fijian-inspired wellness brand founded by Meenal in 2026. Inspired by her childhood in the Fiji Islands and both Fijian and Indian traditions, Bula is all about bringing familiar botanicals and plant ingredients into everyday formats for modern life.

Our Story: Rooted in Fiji, Inspired by Tradition

Before there was a Bula Natural Living brand, there was Meenal’s childhood in Fiji.

Growing up on the islands, natural ingredients were an intrinsic part of daily life. Turmeric was a staple in the kitchen, ginger was a regular part of food and tea, and even appeared in more traditional household remedies. Honey, sea salt, and plants were not seen as a trend — they were part of a daily routine passed between family members over generations.

A child of both Fijian and Indian cultures, Meenal also saw how these traditions blended to shape her own approach to food, plants, and wellness. Food was something grown naturally, it had its place in traditional routines, and was tied in many ways to the natural world.

Those early influences helped lay the groundwork for Bula Natural Living.

Meet Our Founder

Meenal launched Bula Natural Living in 2026.

Years after leaving Fiji and growing up abroad, she was searching for products that reminded her of the simple ingredients and routines from her childhood. She often found instead complicated supplement routines, highly processed products, and ingredient lists that seemed far removed from the simplicity she remembered growing up.

She wanted something different. Her search for real, simple ways to use botanical ingredients eventually became Bula Natural Living.

Our mission is to make it easy for other people to incorporate familiar botanicals into their contemporary lives while staying connected to the traditions that inspired them.

Why Bula Natural Living Was Created

Bula Natural Living exists to help bridge two worlds.

On one side is a traditional world filled with turmeric and ginger in the kitchen, plant ingredients passed down through families, and a knowledge of what grows naturally in the land around you.

The other side is modern life: busy schedules, convenient formats, and people who want simple, straightforward ways to add wellness to their everyday routine.

Our role is to connect those two. Bula Natural Living creates plant-based wellness products, functional blends, and convenient formats inspired by traditional ingredients with a focus on everyday practicality.

Fijian & Indian Traditions, Modern Wellness

Fiji is where Meenal grew up, where her earliest experiences with turmeric, ginger, and other natural ingredients began, and where the spirit at the heart of the Bula name originated.

Her Indian heritage is also part of that foundation, with traditions rooted in Ayurveda and botanicals that have been used across generations and within her own family.
